I am an Alliance member and want to put the ZigBee logo on my product. Can I?

No. Products must undergo an Alliance specified certification process to earn the right to wear the ZigBee logo. Your company may display the ZigBee Alliance logo on your web site or in marketing materials to signify membership in the alliance. My product used a ZigBee Compliant Platform and uses a private application profile. I don't care about interoperability with anyone else's products. Is there a certification program for me?

Yes. The Alliance offers a ZigBee Certified Product test program that is designed to certify products/services like yours. You must be a member of the Alliance and submit your product for the proper certification testing. For more information, see the ZigBee Certification document.

My product uses ZigBee networking but has not gone through any certification, can I call the product "ZigBee Ready?"

No.

If my company uses a ZigBee module in my product, do I need to be a member?

Yes.

What logos can members use that aren't associated with products?

The ZigBee Alliance logo can be used to signify your membership in the Alliance. Graphics may be used as long as there is no reference to a specific product and the company follows the usage guidelines found in the ZigBee Logo and Trademark Policy document.

Do all products have to be tested?

No, while the Alliance encourages all products using ZigBee technology to have some level of testing, it is not a requirement for using ZigBee technology in your product.
